Some observations of variable stars by David Conner
including discoveries from a search for variable stars
Many of my observations have been made with online telescopes. A YouTube video of a presentation which I gave to the British Astronomical Association Variable Star Section in August 2023, 'Observing Eclipsing Binaries With Online Telescopes', can be found here.
This website contains light curves and phase diagrams constructed from observations which I have made of variable stars, mainly eclipsing binaries. It does not include observations made by anyone else, and any errors are entirely my own. Note, it is very much a work in progress - essentially notes on my variable star observations - and changes are liable to be made at any time.
The observations from which the diagrams have been constructed have been submitted to the public access databases of the
British Astronomical Association's Variable Star Section and the American Association of Variable Star Observers.
