TU Lyncis / TU Lyn
Light curve of TU Lyncis / TU Lyn, from photometry of 102 images taken with the Open University COAST telescope between 2017 July 27 and 2018 January 25 through a V filter.
This star is in the catalogues as an EA/GS variable (GCVS, AAVSO VSX, accessed 2018 March 10), with a period of 38.9461 days. However, plotting these observations, as well as some from the AAVSO database, fails to generate a convincing EB light phase diagram. The 'best fit' period results in the following phase diagram, but no other period seems to generate a more convincing EB type curve.
This object is within range of the 2" Titan at Somerby Observatory, and future observations might help to produce more conclusive results.
