ZZ Cancri / ZZ Cnc
Light curve and phase diagram of the EA type eclipsing binary ZZ Cancri / ZZ Cnc, constructed from photometry of 67 unfiltered images taken with the Bradford Robotic Telescope Cluster Camera (BRT) between 2013 March 17 and 2014 May 17.
Below is a light curve obtained from photometry of 68 images taken with the Open University COAST telescope (a 14 inch / 35 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain) between 2017 September 27 and 2018 March 11 through a V filter.
Combining the above two sets of data results in the following light curve. The BRT data is in black while the COAST data is in red.
This data generates the following phase diagram, with a period of 51.1892 days. (Two identical plots, one in colour the other in black and white.)
The catalogued period for this star is 51.18969d (GCVS), and 51.1892d (AAVSO VSX and Kreiner). There is a suggestion of o-c activity (Kreiner).
