V530 Cygni / V530 Cyg
Light curves and phase diagrams of the 'INSA' (GCVS data and type) or 'E' type eclipsing binary (AAVSO VSX) V530 Cygni / V530 Cyg. (There is some ambiguity about which type of variable it is.)
Te following light curve and phase diagram were constructed from photometry of 128 images; 13 images taken with the Bradford Robotic Telescope Galaxy Camera between 2014 July 12 and 2016 September 16, and 115 images taken with the Open University COAST telescope between 2017 July 9 and 2019 September 8. Both telescopes are 14 inch / 35 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes and all images were taken using a V filter. The same comparison stars were used throughout.
The CGVS lists this star as an 'INSA' type variable but does not give a period. The AAVSO VSX lists this star as an 'E' type eclipsing binary (ie sub-type unknown) with a period of 50.830754 d. (Accessed 2019 December 31.)
I hope to obtain more results via the COAST telescope, and perhaps help determine the type.
